Ledger.com/Start® | Getting Started With Ledger®

A friendly starter guide and demo sign-up experience for learning how to safely onboard with a Ledger® hardware wallet. This is a sample template — not an official Ledger page.

Welcome! This page is designed to introduce you to the concepts and recommended practices when getting started with a Ledger® hardware wallet. It walks through the basic steps, emphasizes security best practices, and includes a demo sign-up flow so you can experiment with a safe onboarding interaction.

Why use a hardware wallet?

Hardware wallets like Ledger help keep your cryptocurrency private keys isolated from your everyday computer and mobile devices. By storing keys in a dedicated secure element, hardware wallets drastically reduce the attack surface that an online-only wallet exposes. They are useful whether you're new to crypto or an advanced user who wants stronger protections for long-term holdings.

Getting started — main steps

1) Obtain a genuine device from an authorized seller. 2) Follow vendor instructions to initialize the device. 3) Create a device PIN and obtain your recovery seed — write it down physically and keep it offline and safe. 4) Install companion software or apps and use them to manage accounts. 5) Practice sending and receiving small amounts to become comfortable with the workflow.

Security tips (important)

Never enter your recovery phrase or private keys into a website or a form. No legitimate wallet provider will ask you to paste your seed into a webpage. Store recovery information offline — on paper or metal — and keep it physically secure.

About this demo

This demo landing page includes a safe sign-up form that collects only basic profile information (name, email, and a demo password). It is intended to simulate the first step of onboarding (account creation) without ever requesting any private wallet material. Treat this page as a mockup for experimentation and learning.

Keyword focus: ledger.com/start — this template demonstrates how you might structure content, forms, and messaging for a friendly, secure onboarding experience without endorsing or replicating any vendor's proprietary systems.
